“Mexican food is probably the most misunderstood food by the Japanese.
That was the thought I had when open the small Mexican eatery in Ebisu 10years ago. The real Mexican food is much richer and deeper than what they think it is.
I must confess, though, I didn't know what the real Mexican food is all about until I traveled to Mexico19 years ago myself.
I was surprised to learn the difference of what I had eaten as the Mexican food in Japan and the U.S. from the Mexican food that Mexican people were eating in everyday life there.
More I learned about the real Mexican food, more I became to like it.
I became to like sweet, earthy flavor of corn tortilas, and rich flavors of Mexican chile peppers.
Since then I traveled to Mexico many times and explored many regions of that wonderful country to learn the real Mexican taste.
Thanks for the support from our customers, the place in ebisu had a success and we could moved to a much bigger location in Hiroo 3years ago.
At our restaurant, we make everything from scratch, from tortillas which we bake fresh everyday, variety of salsa, soup, chorizo, to irresistible Mexican sweets.
We use freshest ingredients from the market and Mexican chiles(not chili powder) to bring you the real Mexican flavor.
